It depends on what kind of vegan you are. There's no law that says that if you are this kind of vegan, you cannot wear leather, or anything like that. If you're the vegan and you are uncomfortable with wearing leather, trust your heart and feelings. Wear substitutes for leather instead.
Since vegans constitute to only a small portion of the population, no. What will contribute to animals going extinct is the unabided supportion of industrial agriculture and large unregulated companies like Monsanto and Tyson Foods, as well as our reliance on the petroleum industry to be able to run our lives.
Yes, but some cat food (such as Wellness or Orijen compared to Fancy Feast (may taste good but not very good for the cat)) is better than others. Cats are carnivores so it is best to find a cat food with a good high meat content in it.
Most people believe that inflicting unnecessary suffering is wrong. Non-human animals, particularly vertebrates, suffer physical pain and even emotional distress in much the same way humans suffer. Because of this, most people would agree that humans should consider other animals’ suffering when determining the rightness or wrongness of an action.
Yes, all French bread is vegan.
Well, almost all. Ordinary French bread made in France can contain enzymes and a long list of authorized additives, including E322 (lecithin) and E471 (glycerides of fatty acid), both of which can be of animal origin. So called "traditional bread" is legally supposed to be free of additives.
I think so...are any animals slaughtered to produce this? That is the question...
Black beans are vegan, unless they are cooked in animal fat or broth. In some regions of Latin America, refried black beans are typically prepared with lard (animal fat). Dried (uncooked) black beans are guaranteed to be vegan.
Fun fact: the black beans at the fast-food chain, Chipotle, are vegan, so you're likely never far from grabbing a quick vegan meal there.
Trader Joe's has vegan chocolate chips! As does Whole Foods and several online retailers. Check the packaging on chips at your local grocery store, often times a semi-sweet chocolate chip or baking chips are accidentally vegan.
Not necessarily. Broccoli can be organic, but just because it is a vegetable doesn't automatically make it organic. When a vegetable is organic, it means they didn't use pesticide (non-organic ones, anyway), and didn't use GMO seeds. There is more to organic than simply fruits and vegetables.

No, canola oil comes from the seed of a weed, the rape weed. It was originally processed as a synthetic motor oil, during WWII, when petroleum based lubricants were scarce.
Canola [Canada Oil] is known in Canada as LEAR Oil {low-erucic acid rapeweed oil} it is derived from the seed of a weed. Canola, Safflower, sunflower and others are seed oils and not derived from a vegetable, such as soybean or corn; or fruits like cocoa, coconut or olive oils. There are several other oils in all three above categories, most cooking oils are interchangeable in use, and fruit and seed oils often are incorrectly called vegetable oils.

I don't agree with what you said. Canola oil belongs to vegetable oil. it is made from canola oilseeds. Besides, Vegetable oil has very large scopes such as sesame oil, olive oil, palm oil, peanut oil, sunflower oil, etc..

All whiskeys are kosher (for year round use, not for Passover)
In previous versions of this answer, someone stated that Whiskey must be "mevushal". Mevushal (a cooking process) is a special process for wine only, not other liquors. Wine which has been cooked may be handled by non-Jews, and wine which has not been made "mevushal" must not be handled by non-Jews once opened.
In terms of what is required for whiskey to be kosher, Whiskey, like other forms of alcohol, follow a simple rule: the process must not include contact with treif (non-knosher food) and may be opened, drunk and served by Jews and non-Jews alike.
Vegan Jack Cheeze Recipe
1 1/2 C water
5 Tbs agar-agar flakes
1/2 C cashew pieces
1/2 C firm silken tofu, crumbled
1/4 C nutritional yeast flakes
1/4 C lemon juice
2 Tbs tahini
1 1/2 tsp onion granules
1/4 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1/4 tsp ground caraway seeds
Place the water and agar-agar flakes in a small saucepan, and bring to boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often.
Place in a blender with the remaining ingredients, and process until completely smooth.
Lightly oil a 3 cup loaf pan, or other small rectangular container.
Pour in the cheeze and allow to cool.
Cover and chill for several hours or overnight.
To serve, turn out of the mold and slice.
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
Read the label of the product - if it's written 'certified organic' on it, then it is. If it's not written, then it's not organic. Try looking at the 'organic' sections in supermarkets. Usually the choice is limited but you might find some organic lemon juice there.

Bible bread is a great vegetarian snack. It's made from flour and water, with a touch of honey. It's a bit like a large cracker, with a slightly sweet taste, and is good with honey, jam, or even eaten as is, with nothing on it. It has no fat, which is another bonus!
As far as vegan snack bars go..I like the Odwalla Berries-Go-Mega.
Or instead of buying something pre-made, you could save money, and make your own tasty treat!
Well, I am a vegetarianand personally don't eat any fish. But I would say it's basically up to you; you can if you want... it won't make you not a vegetarian if you do (:
